From modest beginnings with a handful of homes in the first year, Cresco has grown to become an award winning industry leader. And this was proven years ago! When the Recession of the early 90’s stymied other builders and developers, Cresco increased its construction of homes and townhouses. This resulted in lower prices for buyers and a much needed shot-in-the-arm for the local labour market. Now, over 15 years later, the company can lay claim to the construction of over 2000 single family homes in some of Halifax’s most desirable neighbourhoods.

Since joining forces in 1994, owners Hossein Mousavi and Taleb Abidali have made collaboration within the construction industry a top priority. In fact, the diverse backgrounds of Mousavi and Abidali have proven to be a pivotal part of Cresco’s success.
